Im going to buy a new pc to get Civ compatible with it so the turns can go fast in late game. I just wonder if this upgrade kit is good enough for Civ 5 to play on huge/giant maps?

Intel® LGA1150 Core i5-4670K
MSI Z87-G43, Socket-1150
Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB)

ASUS GeForce GTX 760 2GB PhysX CUDA

That's more than good enough. My laptop's worse and uses Intel HD 3000 graphics and I can still run Civ5 on huge on medium settings with no slowdown, though giant has some slowdown in the late era on marathon.

Don,t skimp on the power supply and consider an SSD for your 'C' drive

Don't expect much performance improvement on the turn times. I play on two different Systems one a I7 950 @ 4ghz with a GTX670 the other one a Q9650 Quad with a GTX460 and there is no real difference in turn times.

Otherwise I would strongly recommend a ssd as well. At least the start up time will improve a lot.

Here are my specs and it runs fine with everything maxed out.

CPU...........Intel Core I5 3570K
Motherboard...Asrock Z77 Extreme6
Graphic.......EVGA GTX 670
Mem...........16mg Gskill 8Gx2
PSU...........Rosewill Capstone 650
SSD...........Plextor 128G
HD............1Tb
DVD...........LG
OS............WIN 7 Home Preium
Case..........Cooler Master HAF 932 full tower:)

Don't expect good turn times in late game. It will suck no matter what. Benchmarks tell us that beyond some point, CPU upgrades will improve it only slightly. Your rig is actually way too powerful for Civ alone. If you are not planning to play other new games like Watch Dogs or The Witcher 3, I'd suggest downgrading your graphic card. A modern mid-tier one with 1GB RAM is enough for Civ. For the saved money, get some snus :P

I grabbed a pair of 660Ti on sale and use'em in SLI. cheaper than the 760, performance is is on par or better than the single card. Either way, stay with 2GB+ on the cards. 1GB still has issues on huge maps late game. (if you don't play huge maps, then no worries)

Don't skimp on the PSU stuff more power than you actually need in there. Leaves room for expansion later, and ensures that you don't blow the PSU. I'm using a 1k PSU, but I'm running 2 vid cards, 1 SSD and 3 HD so ... :)

16gig ram not much more expensive than 8, but if your mobo has room for 4 mem slots, can start with 8, add 8 more later. (not everyone is silly and starts with 32gig like me) :P

SSD for windows itself, my steam lib is too big to fit on it, so a fast HD works.
Larger SSD still too expensive for my tastes.

Processor itself affects turn time the most so far.
