buying civ 3

i have a friend visiting us now who ive asked to buy civ 3 complete for me..
what kind of shops sell it??
he says he went to 3 software shops and they had civ 4 but no civ 3 complete..
(dont have time to order online)

depending what country you are in, maybe Cash Converters or someplace like that? or even an ex-rental sale at a video store???

Walmart and Target usually have it if you live in the United States.

Amazon.com has 1-day delivery if he doesn't mind paying the extra shipping/handling cost. Last time I looked, Complete was $17.95 there.

I recently saw a copy of Complete on ebay for 30 Australian dollars. Is this a good price? This one has direct bank transfer to so it doesn't require a credit card!

friend picked it up at best buy-he got last copy they had-it was also out of stock amazon and walmart,apparently they are not stocking it much cos of civ 4

Yeah man you can just buy Civ Chronicles, which has civ4 plus all of civ3, civ2 and civ1. I don't know if my computer is good enough for civ4, but even if I buy this I know I can play all of civ3. Of course, it's got a higher price tag. 60 CDN. Though it's probably cheaper in the states or elsewhere, things usually are.
