Is there anywhere that I can buy d download of Test of Time.

also is ToT a 16 or 32 bit game

I dunno, have you tried eBay?

Classic Civ2 (+ Fantastic Worlds expansion) = 16-bit.
Multi-player Gold Edition and Test of Time = 32-bit.

So the last two should install on 64-bit Windows without a problem. You will, however, need MastermindX's 64-bit compatibility patcher and probably also the Indeo video codecs to play them.

That really depends on how you play and your personal preference for visual appearance. You can probably tell from my signature that I have a bias towards ToT. My interest was mainly scenarios. For that ToT easily trumps MGE. Both versions support multi-player, but more people have MGE than ToT, so if you're looking for players online, then MGE's probably the way to go. The most obvious difference between the two is the graphics. MGE looks like classic Civ2. The graphics engine was upgraded for ToT, but the new style of artwork wasn't everyone's cup of tea. In 2012 I don't much care for either of them. The modding community is more than a decade old and it has better on offer. There are screenshots of a modified ToT in my image gallery (see left).
