Buying tiles with style

When I buy tiles I have this "redundant" problem that I have to click the button "Buy a Tile" then click the tile to buy and then I have to click the button again to buy a new tile. Yet in the following video on civ 5 the guy is buying tiles by clicking the button only once and then clicking several tiles at once. How does he do that?

That's an older (pre-release) build of the game...so apparently they decided to change that little bit of interface.

Perhaps they realized there were too few things to do in the game and decided to remedy it.

it was to easy to missclick and waste your money on something you didn't want, so now you need to confirm every time.
