C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

It's not an option I care about. I'd always have it off for any game I played because I think it makes the AI stupid and would invite a lot of wonder destruction. Barbs always raze is bad enough in my opinion so I'm not really inspired on that one. It wouldn't be too hard if someone wanted to do it but I've got other fish frying at the moment.

No idea right now. It's a big question though and I'm curious to see how it will go in regards to that.

AI does not play different based on diff setting if that's the question.

I see i have to begin to code also in Civ IV now. :crazyeye: At least the gamer can click raze city always for now if he wants a challenge.

Whether the AI gets more bonuses, hammers, gold and build time and stuff if they are set lower than "Noble", I meant.

Tried editing 5.1 to be the same format as 4.1.
Realized why smart people put their Space to the RIGHT of the Earth map, loool.
This will be AWFUL, if I want to make that edit BY HAND.
Which I see that I WON'T, because it's too annoyingly HARD.
So, we'll have to wait for 5.2 for a non-Space map, I guess.
Bummer...

Only lazy fools put the space to the right, looks like shi... and sucks. Map without space is mostly only needed when multimap is coming up.

Next SVN will have the option. I started pushing latest version to SVN just now, but SVN has been acting up recently, so it might fail.

Toffer i really need a option in WB later sometimes to delete a entire horizontal line of the map if you can build it in in the near future so no terrain change, delete it from map file at all.

Ok updating the map/scenario now, new WB saves the map file bit different in the upper part, is the old stuff ok or needs to be changed to the new stuff?

Found something, maybe this is causing the memory leaks, happens sometimes after a time:

Your map is too big

No works, this MAF only comes up when you look into the plot info to much or something... sometimes it dont fails in WB for hours, its a memory leak somewhere. Someone should look into this line, looks like something cause a memory leak there.

Btw RAM usage on new svn dropped from 1300 MB to 1200 MB, so very good RAM usage improvement, with viewport not activated!

That leak looks like one we are aware of in the exe and has been with us from vanilla I believe. It happens when you scroll around a lot or flip through cities a lot. I don't think it's a 'leak' as much as that it's maybe kinda slow about eliminating some memory allocation built up too much at one time. I think it was diminished a bit when the graphic paging came in but it can still happen and again, being in the exe, we can't fix it.

Doesn't have to be a memory leak, could be the exe only allows e.g. a 100 MB buffer for glow textures, or something like that, and that buffer overflowed causing the game to fail to allocate all the glow textures that was needed to render at that moment.

If it is a leak, then it is in the exe, so nothing we can do, if it is what I hypothesized then we could fix it by optimizing our graphical assets further.
We can't look at that line as the game engine within the exe is closed source.

Edit: here's the same error reported for Rise of Mankind in 2008: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/new-rise-of-mankind-runtime-error.304361/

Edit2:
Looks like one could get the source here: https://www.dssz.com/22090.html
I tried signing up to download, but it still required me to have 10 acocount points for that particular source code download, and there's no way I'll try to buy account point (don't trust the site).

This bug is caused when you go into the plot and edit it and put stuff on it that it normaly in WB would not add. Somehow it dont adds wheat and some other stuff not to grassland, looks like a bug in WB.

SOOO... with this new stuff here: "bottom latitude=-17" (I set it from -14 to -17 now) is the rescale stuff from raxo still needed or not? I release the map in some minutes check the scenario file if the latitude stuff and other things are set correctly...

@Toffer90 @raxo2222 Check the scenario/map for bugs in file and if the latitude setting is ok... raxos latitude rescale file still needed or should i remove it from install instructions?

If its without space map, then change bottom latitude to -90 and top latitude to 90

So you still need my latitude rescaling modmod

And latitude setting in scenario file -14 or -17? I think -17 sets 0 better.

Earth map high is now 122 lines. Viewport must be set to 232 x 122 now.

DAMMMMNNNNNNNN THAT ROCKS! ONLY 950 MB RAM USAGE Now on gamestart if viewport is enabled on earth part scale!!!

BUG/PROBLEM:

@Toffer90 (Viewport is no longer needed so its sloved Military advisor works without viewport) Military advisor screen still be bug'ed with viewport enabled, after closing the screen all on map is black.

RAM usage is so good now viewport isnt needed anymore. Removing viewport from installation instructions now.

(OK found the cause for this, have to disable "Minimize AI turn time" in BUG, adding it to the installation instructions) Someone bug'ed the reckless animals option? Animals look like not to attack anymore... hmm much less animals attack now, if that is good on reckless animals?

(OK found the cause for this, have to disable "Minimize AI turn time" in BUG, adding it to the installation instructions) No combat animation if i get attacked only when you attack, that really suckst as the camera is not jumping to the combat, how to fix that? Or make a option "Enable full combat animations".

Enabling "memsaver" in CIV IV ini saves about 200 MB more RAM adding that to the installation instructions now.

Installation instructions on first page here updated.

Hello!

I'm trying to create a "blank" version of this, however, it keeps crashing during the loading process.

Could someone please take a gander at it, and see if I missed anything?

Thanks!
