1. "\CivIV\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos"
2. "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2Cosmos"

Number 2 will not work.

When the modmod is installed:

Inside the resource folder located in the C2C root folder (\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos\Resource\Theme), do you have a C2C.thm file and another folder called "Theme" which contains 24 .thm files?

Open your CIV4ArtDefines_Misc.xml file and look at the bottom....

Do you have this entry there?

Its normal that it will put there by steam on forgein systems and languages.

I can try to copy it to that dir, but if that will work with steam is second question... and if the SVN still working then is also a problem. So i will prefer a version for my folder or let me know where to change that folder in PPIO coding or maybe do a version for the folder most steam users get by standart as me.

No PPIO should be folder compatible or provide a way to change the standart folder.

There is no "My coding", it is in the exe, and there is no way to change the exe coding for where it looks for the theme files.

Having C2C installed in "\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2Cosmos" causes problems even without my modmod btw.

I also use steam and I have no issues with it.

@Pit2015 don't forget to right click the game in steam and go to betas and select original_release_unsupported.

You cannot install Caveman2Cosmos with steam, steam employees have not been paid to create a native service specifically for the installation of civIV mods.
If steam workshop is available for CivIV (I'm pretty sure it isn't) then Caveman2Cosmos is not a mod that is compatible with the steam workshop.

Only 3 files in temp folder in your ressource folder, 2x.dds 1x.tga, nothing in your ressource folder directly, first post link here what i should download for PPIO. Mod runs fine with my steam standard folder setting. I manually installed C2C mod but steam put the modfolder to my folder i have now, so i put C2C mod into mod folder steam provided.

Copy paste my entire modmod into caveman2Cosmos and overwrite files when asked, and you will be asked a lot so check the "do this for all files" checkbox.

You should extract everything in archive not just assets.

Well that file PPIO v0.5.9.6.8 in a. is missing all the stuff, this one has the files you talk about: PPIO v0.5.9.5.3 for C2C v38.5 in a. What now? You uploaded a wrong file missing needed files?

Maybe you forgot to put these because you already have it in you mod dir and just overwriting letz stay them for you in your newer version. Then you should fix you latest version .7z with all files needed so maybe folder is no problem at all.
