I don't have steam version, @Toffer90 can add instruction on how to install mod if you have steam version.

Where is your "Beyond the sword.exe" file?

If you can find that file then there should be a folder named Mods in the same folder as the BtS.exe file.
Open that folder and install Caveman2Cosmos there, then copy my modmod into the Caveman2Cosmos folder.

My installation path is most likely different from yours:
"C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos"

Your BTS folder isn't inside vanilla civ?

Here's my full path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos

I put the mod now there, how to make savegame loading mod from there not from old mod dir? Trying to rename old mod dir for first now...

Open Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini and set the save path you want here (replace the 0 with the path you need):

; Save Path - relative to working (Civ4) folder
FileName = 0

If the mod is loaded before you load the save then the save should work I think, so you should make BtS autoload Caveman2Cosmos by default whenever BtS is started.

This can be done in two ways, one way is to mess with a custom made shortcut icon for BtS.exe, but the imo better way is to change 1 line in your CivilizationIV.ini file.
Username\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\CivilizationIV.ini

; Specify a Mod folder (Mods\Mesopotamia), '0' for none
Mod = Caveman2Cosmos

This can be done in two ways, one way is to mess with a custom made shortcut icon for BtS.exe

In case you want to do it this way:

1. Right click anywhere > New > Shortcut
2. Pick anything
3. Right click new shortcut > Properties > paste these:

Target -> "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod=\Caveman2Cosmos
Start in -> "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods"

Replace path with whichever you are using atm. :)

Works fine now without the last suggested changes. Fixed it, looks cool. :) I think its usind the steam mod folder for first, i renamed the other caveman2cosmos mods folder and it works.

Only problem i see for now is domestic advisor screen dont works, how to fix that?
How does it not work?

You did delete your UserSettings folder that had been created when playing without the modmod, right? The whole UserSettings folder needs to be recreated with the modmod installed for a lot of stuff to work as expected.

@Pit2015, I recommend doing a clean install of C2C every time you update it.

I have it so that the folder that is the SVN (the one that updates) is located in a different place from my working folder. Said working folder is made by right-clicking the SVN folder > TortoiseSVN > Export.

After the export is done (into the Mods folder inside Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword) I then drag the modmods in question and let it overwrite any files.

Any time you feel you want to try the latest SVN then you do the update SVN > export folder > overwrite files all over again.

Ok on full 4k resolution now, still visible but you have something in there to zoom the interfcae just a bit to get it larger? Yes i did deleted the UserSettings folder, i can do it again. But for now the domestic advisor sceen is not popping up then i klick it, nothing happens.

That would not be entirely clean if an SVN update deletes or renames a file, then that old file will remain in your working folder, it could cause issues in rare occasions.
