C3C Earth 100x100 2016-10-05

Here is a 100x100 map of the Earth for C3C.

Now this isn't a pretty map, but it's fairly accurate. The map includes all 31 Civs & relatively accurate resource/luxury/bonus locations. Now obviously this means a lot of cluttering, but it's necessary for optimal game play - and that's what most of us want in a small map. The only change was placing the Celts in Australia (Europe was too cluttered & Australia was beggin' for representation - and better for game play).

Feel free to make any changes you like, I don't care if this map is altered for accuracy, scenario play, or whatever. Call it a community map...

The only thing I hate is the shape of Beat Mitten its millions of miles off.

Great Mitten, I mean Great Britain thats what I call it lol, anyways try multimap.com... you'd get a pretty great pic there...

Ahh, I see. Well with such a small map, I had to compromise in a few areas to keep things accurate, yet playable.

In terms of GB, I felt the English Channel was far too important to compromise just to keep the islands in a more accurate location. This caused them to be slightly off from their actual location relevant to mainland Europe.

As far as most locations go, they're accurate compared to the map they're plotted from. Here is the preview of my Civ map along with the map I based it upon:

As you can see, only the arctic regions are slightly altered (and Hawaii, only to enhance the strategic game value for realistic accuracy - that may change if I update the map).

Well I hope your next map is larger... I did edit this one though so Beat Mitten was bigger than the rest and France was smaller.

No, I don't - sorry. I do have the file though.

Keep in mind this is not my file! I don't know who made it, but I had nothing to do with it. The only connection is that I loved this map and it inspired me to make a C3C version. Kudos to the maker.

Sorry to bump this but...
I was looking for a small world map that runs on Conquests and this was the one I found. I have no complaints. Just wanted to say thanks.
