What is the difference between 1.20 and the 1.22 patches for CIV 3 Conquest? - I installed the 1.20 already what happened if I install the 1.22 now - Do I have to somehow unistall the previous version? and how does this affect the 1.29F for Civ 3 already installed, I'm very confused with all this :confused:

BTW: sometimes when I open the production Queue in city view it turns gray and I can't really see the units listed, anyone else having this problem, maybe a BUG.

If you download the 1.22 upgrade then all you have to do is run it and it will automatically update the game. C3C is essentially a separate game so any C3C patches won't affect Civ3. There are some major differences like MGLs being able to rush build wonders again but several of the changes affect multiplayer games instead by removing the load cheat etc. Its still worthwhile upgrading though.

I don't seem to remember being able to do rush great wonders with MGL using C3C 1.22...

Have been able to with SGLs and am able to rush small wonders with a MGL.

Do you mean small or great wonders?

EDIT: I have taken a quick look at the readme of 1.22. There is no such change mentioned :confused:
 
I was going to say, I never heard that mentioned before. And MGLs could always rush Small Wonders.
 
Does anyone know if 1.22 also fixed the SGL-not-granting-the-20%-scientific-boost-bug?

No, this bug is still in (they seem to give a bonus, but it is far away from the expected) and will be hopefully patched with the final patch.
 
MGLs can now be used to rush build great wonders. I think it might have been reintroduced in 1.20 which could explain why it isn't mentioned. I'm pretty sure about this as it created a stupid situation with the MSDG where we needed to upgrade since it has extra security features yet MGLs could now be used to rush build great wonders which 1.15 does not. In the end the upgrade has taken place with a rule in place so that MGLs cannot be used to rush build wonders even if the game would allow it.
 
No, they can't be used to rush GW.

I've played C3C 1.22 a lot and had many leaders and have yet to see such bug (no GW rushiong as far as I see).


Only case, when I did saw something similar, was when I was making a home-made scenario and placed a leader on the mup.
Such leader is indeed bugged.

But the in-game MGL acts as expected.
