Fixed it???? As an Englishman I am aware of moves towards describing your language as American when really you are using bastardised English. Maybe when it changes enough it will be a different language but at the moment it is mostly simplified spelling, probably more logical. However, I take your point about the in-laws

One persons "bastardization" is anothers "fixing" - I thnk it was George Patten who said that we are countries separated by a common language.

Oh yea - Bom Dia! I do not know if it is the mother of all languages but I have seen some Brazillian girls that could convince me of about anything.
