I'd like to try a shot at it, although depending on how fast it moves I may not be able to play it to the end. When Yamamoto comes back I'll be happy to hand it over.

I've played as Carthage before and did alright.

Could someone please give me a short briefing on the game? Who is at war and are there any particular alliances and such?

Rome is at war with Carthage. It's locked. So far, Yamamoto has burned everything that I try to take except Carthage, so Sicily, Corsica, and Sardinia are empty. I landed at Carthage, but he rushed many numidian mercenaries and saved the city. Meanwhile, to the east... Macedon and Persia are at a locked war. So far I don't think any big things like cities being captured have happened yet, but there have been lots of battles in Asia Minor.

No other wars or alliances.

Scythia and Egypt are also allied with Persia against Macedon. In the east, Macedon mounted a large attack on Persia early on that was repelled, but at great cost to Persia. Since then, numerous skirmishes have occurred along the borders and within Persian territory, but neither side has made any gains.

And I will be away starting tomorrow and ending Monday afternoon, so we'll have another delay when this gets to me.

Ok, I received the file, but still haven't heard from Yamamoto regarding password. Does anyone have the master password so I can change it?

It's been sent onward. Two days is pretty fast. (Plus, no one posted a GPS, so I missed the game for a day.)

I usually send my turns when I first get online, and sometimes forget which ones I've played (unless I have something to brag about, which ain't often) when I finally get to CFC...

Cuivienen, I didn't know you had played your turn, I'm used to getting a gps reply.. I don't understand though, you want me to write gps in forum when I send the turn to you? Thought you would just see the mail so no point of writing in the forum..

Normally it shouldn't be a problem to run a turn/day or every two days for slower games with only four people unless the time zones are a bit messy..

I don't use my gmail account for much except PBEMs as I have a very good e-mail system supplied by my school that I use for most e-mails. Therefore, I probably won't know that the game has been sent unless I see a GPS.
