damn, i want to play... but I freaking lost my Civ3 Conquests CD (I just realized last night that I left it in my old computer that I threw away!...aarggghhh!)

anyways, when does this start...I'm probably going to buy Civ3 Total or whatever it's called that includes all three games...if you guys start without me, cheers!

Ok ... game set up, Japan turn played and game passed to USA.

Sorry it took so long ... I have never played this type of scenario before so it took me a while to get to grips with starting off with so many units.

Also, USA turn kept bouncing back to me until I noticed the address as sent by LouLong is incorrect ... if you check Bk's post, it looks like you have left off a '4'. I have sent to the corrected address and so far, it hasn't bounced back.

Anyways, for some reason the Japanese Fleet decided to stay right off the Hawaiian Islands presumably for a second attack. The United States is now fearful of attacks in the Phillipines and numerous Pacific Bases.

Combat (no need for stating nationality):

Off the Coast of Palau- Lost Sub while attacking Sub

To the east of the Phillipines- 2 Dest & 1 Sub def. Dest & Sub while losing 1 Dest

South of Honolulu- Sub def. Sub

West of Honolulu- 5 Batt, 1 Cruiser, & 1 Bomber def. 2 Dest with no lost units

The United States Chiefs of Staff now fear another attack on Honolulu or even an attack on the Pacific Coast and are scrambling to fortify for such an attack...

Can we all agree that we use 'ODT PBEM' at the 'thema' field, when we send emails? I become about 60 emails per day and it's easier to sort them if i know for what the email is. Especially on those who playing more then one PBEM with me like BkGreatWarnut.

Is "ODT" by itself enough ? That sorts things out pretty well for me (and I am in a few PBEMs myself !).


@ Citizen : well, send it as soon as you can. But if you only check once every 24 hours, well, no big problem. But the faster it is, the more interesting it is.

Is it ok to put the date in?

Example:

"ODT Dec 1941"

Just wondering cause it helps me keep track of the saved files until I have time to delete them...I have accidentally sent a wrong game because of this...

I think he meant mail titles for "OTB".

For the saves, yes, replace just your name + name of the civ and keep the date.

There are still openings for three players as either Germany, Russia, or Italy...

Requirements of each player:
1a-A willingness to finish out the game
1b-Reconfirmation that you now have the new scenario downloaded and have made sure that it works...

This means I need reconfirmation that they are still playing from rcoutme, Luk, and Delpjero as everyone else is very eager to get this thing going!!!

2-And of course proper PBEM etiquette...check e-mail as often as possible...minimum of once a day...play the turn and send it ASAP
