C3C wont load

i don't know if my issue is similar to other post, but i cant get C3C to load. i get the opening screen click on play my screen goes blank and then nothing. I have reinstalled and tried running autoplay and still no relief. CIV4 works as do other cd-rom games.

my drive is a SONY DVDRW dual layer and i havent had any issue until now.

oh, the C3C work on my old HP Pavillion.

What OS are you running? What's your screen resolution? What refresh rate?
