This is what happen when you keep bullying Cahokia. hahaha

I take this SS in my game last week as France.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with Casimir III's AI.
One game he soared in science/culture/tourism, building all the wonders. I was the last one not taken in by his tourism. He denounced me because I was Order, and he was Autocracy. And he can into space.
Others, he's expansionist, building a million cities and often warmongering.

Yeah, it happens also in some of my games before, Cassimir is one of your best opponent later in the game, but not on this one. :D

Poland's the only Civ I've seen with a non-cap as it's holy city. He had maybe 5 cities, all following my religion quite contentedly. Then Krakov became a Holy City. Warsaw was still under Polish control, and had never left.

I love it when this happens. I always make small skirmishes near Ghengis Khan when he starts close to me in the hopes CS will take his cities :D

me too!, im the one who siege the enemy City then i let my allied CS attack the City with its Melee units, unfortunately they don't make Annex or puppet Cities, they Raze it. unless its the Civ's Capital.
hope that they would let the CS make Puppuet Cities out of major Civs Cities.

Anyone tried let CS capture enemy cap and then use Diplomatic Marriage to main CS city? Both cities go under your control? Or former enemy cap becomes main CS city? What happens if someone capture it?

I bet Kraków has build Hagia Sophia and got the free prophet.

In one of the easier games in vanilla, when I had tech lead and didn't wanted to bother with attacking japan, which entered in perma war with my city state ally, I started helping city state with gifted units.
I was gifting mech. infantry, japan was using riflemen.
Eventually japan was razed to the ground by city state with only capitol left CS pupet.

Interesting! I'm curious about it. Because, in the case of Warsaw here, the Wonders are "lost"...

I have done this before, and you indeed gain control of both cities.

If somebody takes Cahokia, the CS will still survive but with the name of Warsaw. It's pretty funny.
I remember a game with Attila. His capitol was captured by a allied-of-mine CS (cos I liberated it from his empire), and it was his last city. So Attila the Terrible was wiped out by a CS, shame on him, and I didn't get the diplo hit for that. :)

In an other game, there were two close CS (don't remember, let's say Belgrade and Jerusalem), and CS start to annex other Civ cities, but lose them. By the end, the two CS were exchanged. Belgrade annexed Jerusalem, but lost its "capitol", annexed by Jerusalem. It was very disturbing.

This is one of my favorite tactics. I gift over a bunch of units to make sure that the CS has plenty of firepower then I simply help weaken the city defense. The problem is that too often the CS just will not attack the the city and take it. so now I make sure that my units are behind them so that they are more likely to hit the city instead of retreating for no reason.

 we need a Stalin leader for you.

I wish your had more control over what CS allies do. Like, pay them to launch an attack on a city with all their units. The further away from them, the more it should cost.

This is funny, too, but I also love how Monty's capitol fits perfectly into the 'O' in Civilization.
