Calabim overpowered?!

Oh I do play other civs. The only ones I have not played so far are Amurites and Doviello. (Ok I played Amurites twice but I planned to go and went Infernals from the beginning.)

Calabim a builder civ ? I thought a builder would have some sort of problems going on a rampage through the world, so let's rather say a late game warmonger. A powerfull one.

Late game? The Moroi is probably the best Axemen UU ( IMO ) and they come early, they hit hard, and they are fast. And now they don't turn barbarian, but just AI controlled, and once that feature has been tweaked so it works ok, they should be even better than before.

New people tend to gravitate towards the Calabim because of the whole "scary vampires" thing.

With Flauros I think I would agree, perfect traits for you to tech up into the late stage of the game and go warmonger.

WIth Alexis, I think you may as well use the Agressive trait for what it's intended and do a Moroi rush.

Both techniques work well for carrying the Calabim into the late stage, with their respective leaders of course. I think a rush with Flauros is generally a mistake, and if you don't rush with Alexis then you've missed a trick.

I always play Flauros, so I tend to neglect the early potential of the moroï. Anyway, they're good even after you've got vampires.
