I'm seriously thinking about these issues.

I think I should try to resist Civ4. The time it will inevitably suck away. And the multiplayer? I don't know about you guys, but multiplayer Civ gets in my head something nasty.

I genuinely don't think I can handle this game without becoming an addict again.

I'm really troubled. I normally stay up later than Mrs. Tigar and get a good 3-4 hours of quiet game time to myself every evening. This aloud me about 6 hours of sleep before getting up for work. However, my heir to the thrown was born 2 weeks ago, so if I choose to stay up late to play cIV, I'm toast!

Even if I was to go down at midnight (and we all know how easy it is to turn off a civ game ) There is NO way I'm gonna get any kinda regular sleep.

I'm gonna need a "INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH JOLT-FLAVORED TRIPLE EXPRESSO WITH A SHOT OF CRACK & A RED BULL CHASER" every single day. My body will go on strike after a few weeks.

I hope my insurance will cover the total body replacement!!

Out of personal exspreince you are just going to have to wait 3-6 years for any game time longer than 2 hours

i think i'm safe because i have a steady stream of time wasters, so there's no sudden jolt when a new civ game comes out. just means i stop reading so much. or stop wasting time online. or stop staying at work so many hours in a day*. it's really pretty simple.

* my computer at work doesn't have a good enough video card. i checked already.

Did too. She did'nt like it one bit. Then we got down into some serious diplomacy business... I proposed more serious attention for some cIV time... she flatly declined, and her face told me she was not amused. She started to threaten the wellbeing of my empire by declining me her luxury resources. In shock, I offered her the Kama Sutra tech I had just had researched. That made her amiable again. Still, she got the best of the bargain in the end- a very hard nut to crack. I had to offer her a vast annual amount of understanding and care. Plus the usual sum per turn. All this for just a little bit more playtime. cIV will better be good...
