Can Opera 7.1 M2 be configured for Hotmail

Opera 7.1 comes with its M2 mail client. I can't figure out how to configure it to Hotmail.
Is it possible, and how is it done?

No, hotmail is a web based email, and as so, cannot be used with any email programs which use pop3 or imap. (non web based protocols)

Exception to what Zelig said: Outlook Express. You can use OE to retrieve your hotmail emails. Ms says it is in beta though and I believe it. Expect problems like double emails, emails that will not delete, unable to send emails with out restarting OE, etc.
