Can units still be bribed?

I just now found this out, but read that by 2004 bribing was disabled.

Is this still possible in Conquests? And if not, why is it still available in C3CEdit?

No bribing in civ3 or any of its expansions. That was a bad idea from civ2. I have not read anyone using that in a mod, but you could ask in the creation forum.

There is no bribe-option in the C3Cedit, neither is there such an option in PtW and Civ 3 Vanilla editors. Can it be, that you mix up bribing with enslaving? Enslaving works completely differnt than bribing. Otherwise, please explain, where in the C3Ceditor you found the bribing option - I always want to learn something new. :)

I'm pretty sure it was somewhere in the government help. Lemme check...

Yep, in the help file for the Governments tab, in 'Propaganda Modifier vs.' and the integer to the right.

And propaganda also affects only cities, which are allready affected by your culture. It just gives them the last kick to rebel against their current country. In most cases it is only a waste of gold.
