can we revisit an archaic policy?

It's been brought to my attention that anything that is a video cannot be filed under tips and tricks and must be filed under stories and let's plays. Even if the video itself is not a let's play and is in fact a video tips and tricks guide. In a day and age where people have smartphones and information travels faster than ever, I cannot fathom how one arrives at the conclusion that tips and tricks cannot be conveyed in video form.

Shall I consider this matter closed with no change implemented? I will probably be making more video guides in the future and want to know where I should share them.
