Can you gift a nuke to a CS?

I wish I had tried to gift one last game when I had them. Have you guys gifted either an atomic bomb or the ballistic nuke to a CS? Has a CS ever used one, because that's what I'm really hoping for. I've watched 2 CS's fight a rather long war before.

I'll try this the next time I get a chance. Just make sure you don't let someone else ally them

I know you can give CS's air units. You can gift anything from a guided missile to a stealth bomber. You really have to have just one air unit in the city at a time to do this effectively though.

No, unfortunately you can't gift a nuke to a CS.

Actually, as far as I can remember, city-states used to have the ability to build the Manhattan Project, but this was removed in a patch.

I might be wrong though.
