How do you Cancel ROP, MPP and other pacts on mac?

You can't do so immediately, other than by declaring war on your allies (not always a good idea). You can renegotiate or cancel them every 20 turns.

The mechanics of it are the same as on a PC.

Open the negotiation screen for the civ and click the "Active" button at the bottom. This will list the active trades and treaties. Expired deals are the ones with no "turns-to-go" count in brackets. To renegotiate or cancel an expired deal, put it back on the negotiating table by clicking it. You can then either bargain to renew it or just exit without doing a new deal.

A tip on renegotiation. If you are hoping to renegotiate more gpt on an expired deal, make sure the civ has some spare gpt first, otherwise you may lose the gold you are earning for the deal by renegotiating. You can test this by offering to sell something for 1 gpt. You can offer anything, even your only source of a resource, as you are not actually going to sell it. If your advisor tells you they would never accept it you know they have no more gpt to give you, so don't renegotiate the existing deal unless you have other motives. If they would accept the new "deal" then you can test how much extra gpt they have by upping the gpt you ask for.

Thanks for the help ...damn the manual sucks! It keeps saying you 'can' do this or you 'can' do that but it NEVER TELLS YOU HOW TO DO IT!
