Hey guys. I'm having a bit of a problem, I'm unable to see the lines that are supposed to appear between nations in the foreign advisor screen. It would be a great help to know what my opponents are up to; anyone know how to fix this?

I had the same problem when I upgraded to a patch, i forgot which one, try version 121f it seems to work ok

Yea, I'm running 121f and I've got embassies with every foreign power. I think it has something to do with my video card, but I'm not sure what, and I don't want to mess anything up. Any clues guys?

I've noticed this happening as well - I find that it happens when I gain certain techs or change goverment types rather than being a specific fault i.e video or something,or sometimes after I've loaded a save game.

(I'm running v1.21f patch)

Don't know if it helps but I've found clicking off the option on the foreign advisor screen to show all the relationships (peace/war , mpps etc) wait a turn then click them back on and they reappear and stay on. Soemtimes doing the shift + right click option (which normally shows the other civs if too many are available to display at once will bring them back as well.

If everything else is displaying correctly I don't think you have a video card problem.

The thing is, I've NEVER had the lines. It's not like they're dissapearing and re-appearing at their leisure, they just don't exist. It's beginning to look like there isn't a resolution to my problem?

I have the same problem...the lines that show foreign relationships have never showed up in the game for me. Makes it really hard to figure things out at times. And yes, all the drivers/DirectX are up to date. Anyone ever see a solution to this?
