Can't beat Emperor? Try this map.

This map is pretty much impossible to lose on. Well, this is Rome so that's kinda always true.

Now, you might be wondering how this map could be any good since you're against a mountain pass. Well, nobody said you had to settle there. Move the settler to the cotton for a much better spot.

The mountains will keep you mostly safe, and there's 3 CS's nearby (culture, faith, and production). There's also so much space for Campuses and Holy Sites thanks to the mountains. The faith CS isn't just any faith CS. It's Kandy! With Amani first, I was able to get Political Philosophy on turn 39.

I was hoping for a thread like this, actually several (one for each difficulty level above say, prince.) Save your game on turn 1, when you have a really fun game because of a certain map (an OP start, fun neighbors, isolated with city states, whatever leads to either a lot of fun or a great early progression), upload the save file. give a little description, optionally a turn 50 spoiler. Would be great.
