Can't get Mods to work. Can't get Scenarios to show up on menu screen. PLEASE HELP!

I need super-ultra-mega-hyper help. I can't get a mod to work properly on my computer no matter how diligently I try.

I first started with this as a reference. But the scenarios I download do not show up on the menu screen labeled "Scenarios". In addition, when I download mods there are soooooooooooo many hoops to jump through that it doesn't become worth the hassle to play the game anymore. Can't it just be simple like Warcraft 3!

There was this guy (who had Gandalf as an avatar) that mentioned our Civ 5 modding is dead. Well it's thanks to crap like this that it is. I feel screwed either way...PLEASE HELP!

First off make sure that you select the single player which is directly above the Browse Mods option. Not the Main Menu single player which is above the multiplayer option

Secondly most mods dont have their scenarios in the scenario option, you have to go into the custom game option and select the map from there (then check load scenario).

If it doesnt pop up in the selectable maps then Some scenarios you have to maneully put it in.

1. To do that you have to first go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS

2. then click on the mod folder that you want, then there should be a Civ5map file in there, COPY it

3. Then go back to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps and then paste the file in there

Then your done. And it should be in the selectable maps. Hope that Helps!
