Can't get Warlords to load

I had to uninstall and reinstall both vanilla and Warlords, and now when I try to run Warlords, I get a message saying "Runtime Error! This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

What is this and how do I fix it? I'm not very tech-savvy when it comes to computers so any help will probably have to be dumbed down.

Some more info like your OS and computer specs like CPU speed and main memory size will help others guessing what happen.
