Can't Install Civ4Comp on WinXP

Hello. I know this is an old question, but I would like to install Civ4 Complete Ed. on my WinXP desktop computer. When I do, I get this error: "the version of adobe acrobat 3.01 requires windows 3.1x 16 bit. setup cannot continue." It doesn't go beyond that.

Any ideas? Thanks.
