Can't load 1.52

I tried to load the 1.52 patch and was unsuccessful.
I got a message

CRC error: The file C:\Program File\Firaxis games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Civilization 4.exe doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium you are running the setup from may be corrupted. Contact your software vendor.

I had no problem with the original discs or the 1.09 patch.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I had the same problem. Then I couldn't open the game. So I uninstalled Civ and now i can't reinstall it. This sux

Same thing here. I uninstalled and cleaned the registry. But haven't reinstalled it. If they ever come out with some "working" patch then maybe I'll give it another go. Meanwhile I'll get back to other games.
