Can't load some units onto ships

Hi guys,

This is my first post and I'm not sure whether I'm posting it in the right place. I was playing the FFH2 mod, which is awesome, but I noticed something funny, and I'm wondering whether its a glitch or whether I'm missing something.

For some reason, I couldn't get certain units to get onto ships. For example, with a caravel (upgraded with cargo room of 3) I can load settlers, my hero (severitus, or something), and archers, but I couldn't load assassins or hill giants. When I tried to load them the cursor became a red circle and they wouldn't load the ship.

Are there specific units that won't go onto ships, or is something wrong here?

The mentioned units have hidden nationality, so that you can't see to whom they belong too.
So it's just logical, that you can't load them onto ships, because then you could see that.
 
What J said. Basically, Hidden nationality units can't group with regular units. And loading units onto a ship is a grouping action. If you create a Privateer (which also starts with Hidden Nationality), you should be able to load those units onto it. The other option is to use the Reveal action to remove the HN promotion from the units in question.
