Okay so this has been driving me crazy for a few weeks now:
I have been an active member in the Civ4 PBEM community over here for a few years and as such have been posting a great many threads and comments. However, since a few months ago, there are two specific threads I can't seem to be able to reply to:
This one and that one, both for the same game. (The reason we have two threads is that the original creator has left the community a few months ago and the OP is kind of important for the gameplay due to house rules.)
Whenever I click on the "Post Reply" button, the interface just freezes up, all buttons become grayed out and what I wanted to post never comes through to the thread. This only happens in these two specific threads (replying to other threads even within that same forum works fine) and, as I just now realized, when I'm using Firefox on my main PC whereas I can reply just fine on Chrome on my tablet. Hmpf.
Okay so is Firefox to blame? Is it my computer? But then why is it only bugged for those two specific threads whenever I tried for the past few weeks and no others? Why does it work on a different browser on my tablet then? What is going on here? I'm so confused.
Update: So apparently ublock origin was the culprit all along, huh. But why only for those two specific threads?
