Cant read dvd!! asks for cd-rom

I have just bought civ4, dvd rom version...


I have installed it, and when i go to play it says 'please insert cd-rom, wrong disk...'?!?


Now it cant be the wrong disk, its the dvd-rom version...


I have good enough specs to run it, whats up??

The game is installed so it has read the dvd...

And the player can read other dvds...


Its just when i then try to load it, it cant read it...

This is a problem with SafeDisk (The copyright protection that Civ4 uses) unfortunately SafeDisk in all it's wisdom interferes with legitimate customers like you and me.

I basically had to crack the game to get it work!
