Can't see file I downloaded from here

So, I bought a new laptop, got back into Civ4 after five years of not playing and am having a good time. I'm on Emperor and I want to get better so I visited nobles club and downloaded the NC202 file. I put it into Saves folder under my Civ4 BTS subfolder, pretty sure it is in the right place, but when I'm in the game, it doesn't appear in the saved games when I go to load it up. All my past game saves are there, but not the NC202 file.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm on windows 10 and I am playing Civ4 BTS through steam.

NC games are created as Worldbuilder saves, which allows folks to play on the difficulty the choose and the mod of their choice. Worldbuilder saves go into the Worldbuilder subfolder of the Saves folder. (I assume you have unzipped the download first and select the difficulty of choice) Use the "Play as Scenario" or "Custom Scenario" menu options to play a WB save.

Note that AIs get bonus techs on higher difficulties relative to difficulty, but the bonus is not present in WB saves, so you have to go into WB and add the corresponding techs to the Barbarian civilization. For example, above Monarch all AIs start with Hunting and Archery - but these are missing in WB saves so you add that back. (Note: Information on how to do this is laid on in the OP of all NC threads including the additional techs per difficulty)

Other than that, everything is just like a normal game.
