Can't start any game

Since the last update, I can only see the following screen. The items can not be closed, the dropdown contains no values, the close button has no effect. Has anyone any idea how to solve this?

I can't attach the screenshot here.... but everything is darkened, at the left side an empty dropdown is shown and at the bottom left side a "close" button.
