As the title says, I can't start or load a game.
The loading bar stops at 'setup players' or 'setup map', and I just end up back in Windows, and Visual Studio informs me that there has been an unhandled win32 exception in Civilization4.exe.
My specs are:
Athlon XP 2000+
1 GB Memory
Gigabyte Radeon 9550 with 128MB
Windows XP SP2
I tried everything I found on this forum - old Catalyst drivers, Harkonnen memory fix, all the patches, turning off AGP, increasing AGP aperture size, unpacking the PAK file, windowed mode, increasing virtual memory....
I assume the problem is with the video card, since everything worked with my GF4 Ti 4200 that decided to die on me the other day.
I would appreciate any advice.
