Can't uninstall BtS

So i downloaded the lastest patch for BtS and installed it. The first time I went to play it after installation, it crashed and now won't start. I tried uninstalling it so I could reinstall it all over again but it won't uninstall. It brings up all the screens and even says it has removed the program, but still lists it in my add/remove program window. If I try to install over it, it brings up the uninstall wizard again, which still does not remove the program. What am I doing wrong?

is this the cd/dvd version of the game or a digital (aka downloaded) one?

It is a digital copy.

this complicates things since I don't know the registry keys for that.
you want to reinstall, correct?
if so: get ccleaner and use the uninstall routine that has to remove the game entry from the uninstall list - that should do it. If in doubt about what to do, ask

Ok, I downloaded and installed CCleaner and ran the uninstall on BtS. It went through the normal uninstall routine but did not remove it. Should I click the Delete Entry and try to remove it that way?

sorry - yeah I meant use the Delete Entry thing - what that does is remove only the registry key that tells windows that that game is installed. This means that the files and other registry keys will remain. This further means that a reinstall should work though (overwriting everything that is left behind).

Thanks. I did what you said and it seemed to have worked. I am reinstalling right now. Now I can hopefully get back to my FfH2 game! Thanks again for the help.
