Hey y'all,

I would like to upload my mod to the steam workshop through modbuddy but it fails systematically. Here the message it displays;

Attempting to upload Quebec Civilization (v 1).civ5mod
Uploading Quebec Civilization (v 1).civ5mod... FAILED
Cleaning up cloud data
Cleanup failed :-(

Here's what I tried so far;

  • Verified steam and civfanatics forums for similar issues
  • Verified Modbuddy was up-to-date.
  • Verified firewall.
  • Uninstalled/Reinstalled Civ V SDK the same drive/directory as Steam.
  • Verified the mod did not contain any large file (fyi, 4Mo overall, 350Ko for the the “civ5mod” file).
  • Tried to upload at different period of the day (morning, afternoon, evening).

Nothing worked. So, if anyone has a solution, I would be very grateful and will not forget to quote him/her in my mod ! ;)

Thanks!

Mez.

Make a new mod and rebuild the entire mod. Just to be safe, say, for example, if you use XML files, make new XML files and copy/paste the contents of your mod instead of importing the XML files of your mod directly.
Had the same problem, worked with my Córdoba mod.
