This is version 1 of the second part of two modifications that both aim to even the playing field in tactical battles between the AI and the human player. This part reduces the potential bonuses from promotions and other bonuses. The rationale is that the player due to keeping units alive and using all potential bonuses to the max gets a large tactical advantage over the AI which makes tactical battles to easy to win.

Version 1 changes

Great General gives 15% bonus (old 25%) Chinese additional 10%
Adjacent Discipline Bonus give 10% (15%)
Morale Bonus give 10% (15%)
Following base promotions have all been reduced. 25% -> 15% and 20% -> 10%
SHOCK, DRILL, ACCURACY, BARRAGE, COVER, INTERCEPTION, DOGFIGHTING, AIR SIEGE, TARGETING AIR and TARGETING NAVAL

Version 2 changes

Fixed the help text for heroic epic to correctly say a morale bonuse of +10

Available in the mod browser. All suggestions for improvements are welcome.
 
I think it would be more balanced if you could make it so that instead of being able to pick all of the following, you could only pick one : medic, blitz, extra range, indirect fire, heal after move, extra attack, etc.. basically the top level ones are way overpowered when you combine them.
 
Great Idea, I will look into it.

I am also thinking of reducing the penealty for being in open terrain, the AI is just horrible at putting its units in open terrain, again archers get that 33% bonus and its overpowering. Plan is to lower it to 15% penalty.
