I thought the manual said that when you capture a Great Wonder, it continues to produce culture points even when its function has become obsolete.
The manual says: "If a Great Wonder is captured (along with the city it's in), its benefits go to the new owner."
The manual also says: "The gloryand culture pointsthat accrue to your civilization for possessing a Wonder are the general benefits conferred by such great works; more importantly, these benefits continue to accrue even if new advances make the Wonder's specific benefit obsolete."
These two statements taken together suggest that when you conquer a GW, you should continue to get its culture points. But I have never observed this. The things always turn inert after I have captured them: they just sit there and bring no benefit once they're obsolete. Do they just not like me?
