notice the iron on the bottom of the screen, we should prioritize connecting that to our trade network

Yes, the only problem is AFAWK, the nearest rivers are way too far in the East near Lagos...:(

But we'll manage. :)

I've been having computer problems, but I'll be able to play tonight... I'll have the turns done and posted by tomorrow morning.

No problem. :)

I think we should try to get the statue of Zeus, because then we would get all those ancient cavalry units free. :)

Well thats it, sorry if i messed up. But this is my first set of SG turns ever, so forgive me.

this is our water situation

and here is the save:Save

I get it exactly, you mean that the name of the save is the wrong date, but it is the correct file, right?

Umm... I forgot to mention that I wanted the settlers to found cities exactly where they were going, so thanks for not screwing it up. j/k

For your first set of turns ever that's really good :goodjob:. I'm assuming that ToA is Temple of Artemis. FYI, you don't need to tell us exactly what units you moved.

We'll have an easy time going though the map, barbarians are sedentary and we're expansionist so we can't pop them from huts. But what's really weird is that Portugal is a Seafaring civ and we should actually start by the coast. It shouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I rolled this map out of the editor to make it 300x300.

I'm guessing that this game will last a lot longer than most others, since the map is so big. Lucky for us I didn't turn on just conquest or domination. Domination would be impossible on a map this size.

We need to spread our scouts out instead of just sending them one direction as I saw Infoman and Wizard did (no offense). If we're to use our traits to their full potential, we need to get some costal cities.

I've just taken a glance at the map in the editor (I didn't look for resources or anything), but we're pretty far from the ocean. I won't say which direction or how far unless asked.

Umm... I won't use that to our advantage as I'd really like to win this without doing that (I kinda consider it cheating).

From my records, Infoman should be up. Then Wizard.

Good luck to the next player. I probably won't be able to play Monday, definitely not Thursday (gotta help with Thanksgiving Dinner ;))

Please skip me this turn. I am in the process of moving and I am going out of town for Thanksgiving. So I will not be able to play until next Saturday at the earliest. Sorry for the incomvienence.

Yeah, sure. :)

Hmm... I'm not totally sure if I'll manage to play it today...:(

If I haven't posted it at 8 pm GMT, please skip me.

Captain CF. Those first 10 turns went quick and I can't wait to get back in the rotation. It is odd that we are not close to the coast. I thought that seafaring civs were suppose to start near or on the coast. This will add to the difficulty some.
