Civilization4! Celtic empire! Brennus! Ultimate warmonger! Spiritual: very flexible, saves turns. Charismatic: Elite troops, works with all troops.

Recommended map: Map: Big and small, Size: Huge, Climate: Tropical, Sea level: Low, Era: Ancient, Speed: Normal, Continents size: Snaky continents, Islands sizes: Islands, Island overlap: Islands mixed in!

Wonders to get: Mausoleum of mausollos, Pentagon, and Christo redentor! And if your lucky, you find marble or stone... And remember to chop your forests!

Technology path: Writing, mathematics, calendar, currency, code of laws, theology, philosophy, paper, education, liberalism, free civil service, nationalism, gunpowder,to optics, astronomy, printing press, scientific method, physics, electricity, radio. Then play as you wish!

To compete economically, get couple religions, it helps a little and is useful diplomatically. The Huge economic bonus comes from Golden Ages!
Inner cities makes cottages and some production help. Some coast towns use farms and then make some workshops, works with drydock.

Civics use after having Cristo Redentor: Universal suffrage to buy troops and then switch to police state. Nationhood used with theocracy and switch with vassalage or free speech. Slavery and caste system or emancipation. Mercantilism is good. Organized religion or pacifism and theocracy if vassalage is not in use.

Facts:

1. Celts are mammals.
2. Brennus fights ALL the time.
3. The purpose of the Gallic Warrior is to flip out and kill people.

After the huge nerf of spiritual, I'm really not so certain this is much to praise anymore... especially when running golden ages anyhow. Really makes less sense.

If you're spiritual, why do you prioritize Christo?

This is just some late 1st April joke or just someone who got civ4 week (maybe 2) ago? :D

It's still a nice wonder to have, as you can change every turn if you wish, and SPI gets +100% bonus on it too iirc.

Most games won't last that long, though.

Nice is not the same as making it a priority.

But yeah, when I first started playing I used to build it, but after years of reading here, my games are now mostly over long before.
