First Time playing celts, so I am not sure about their Pantheon. I choose Ogma because the yields in my capital are really helpfull right now and later on I can use the +5 science on C. Hall really well too keep up in techs for fighting.

I choose Authority because with spain and rome as neighbors I will have to fight 10/10. I built a Monument in Capitel and a UU + bought another UU to get Faith.

Ogma seems like a fine choice to me. Rhiannon??? (The one that buffs all improved resources) would be pretty good too.

Good, I chose Ogma but you are right, Rhiannon would be interesting as well.

Any other glaring mistakes or tips?

I placed my first city aast left of the river right on the hex over the incense. I was afraid Augustus would forward settle me because he is often very expansive (he delayed setteling surprisingly long though)

Second City west in the mountain gap 2 hexes to the SW of the NW. Preping to fight spain in that area,

I fought spain first to be save on that flank and control that whole peninsula. Worked pretty well. Conquered a City she placed just East of the Lapis Lazuli in the screenshot and razed a city around the marsh on the far west coast under Madrid. Then made peace for 10 Turns to heal and take out her last 2 Cities.

But just then rome declared on me an quickly stomped my first expansion on the river so this game is pretty much lost. Pretty hard to fight on both flanks, maybe I shoud have attacked rome first.

I would have settled the natural wonder first, especially since its easy to defend. Then targeted Rome. If you are already planning on fighting Rome, who cares if he forward settles you? Let him build a city for you, then conquer it.

Why not be aggressive towards Rome? Try to achieve a victory before he unlocks Legions.

Also if you take authority, you want to tribute city states. Otherwise, progress is worth considering (progress + Ogma have natural synergy).

He only had only one city long and then settled only 2 Cities Noth and South of Rome. I thought he wasn't doing so well also indicateb by low score allthough I know this can be misleading.

Need to look more for tributes, thanks for this and the other tips.
