Certain Mods Won't Load...

A lot of the mods that came with Warlords don't work for me. Omens, and Rise of Rome being two of them.

With omens, the game exits to the desktop as soon as you click on your first unit.

As for Rise of Rome, the game loads, and then exits to the desktop.

Is this a simple fix, or is there something more?
