Also, the Zapotecs should be weaker. I don't know if it's just me, or do they seem to always conquer the Aztecs?
This was the originally reason for the mod, and I'll start with this.
In fact, Mesoamerica as a whole should be redone. It should be a jumble of OPMs constantly warring with each other.

I would be willing to contribute, I've been dabbling a bit in modding. One event which I have mostly done is an event where if the Netherlands have not been formed and there are no independent Dutch states, it adds Netherlands cores, and can trigger further events such as the Iconoclastic Fury or the Capture of Brille. That way the Eighty Years War or something like that can happen.
Also, I strongly agree on the Native American nations. They are bruited aside in most histories, however, there was potential in a lot of Pre-Columbian states to thrive during the colonial age, however, it was marred by plague or weak leadership. They were far more socially advanced than the Old World at the time, some of their social structures being inspiration for some Enlightenment and Victorian era political theory. But I will post more about this after I've thought about it more.
And on top of that, make it easier for Russia and Spain to form.
