Been on the forums now for about 7 or 8 months, and this is really my first foray into the "Humor & Jokes" section. Pretty funny stuff from lots of people in these threads - I'm glad I ventured in.
Starlifter: Thanks for the nod. I do like to embellish when writing up succession games and at times I'll get carried away.
Some people who always seem to get me cracking up:
Cunobelin of Hippo: "Hear now the word of Hippo" is a sure sign that something funny is on the way. Perhaps at his best while taunting others - check out the (likely archived) Zulu War threads for some of his better stuff.
Starlifter: Returning the nod. A great job of starting the "special awards" in the GOTM forums. I especially liked the "luckiest trireme" award that was given to Richard. Hehehehe.
Smash: If you ever get a chance to download a game of his, you're sure to get a chuckle. His city names are quite descriptive and I think he has as much fun naming them all as he does playing the game itself.

I do tend to spend most of my posting time in the "Stories and Tales" and "GOTM" forums, so I haven't had a chance to see a lot of posts by some others who seem to be nominated quite often (Lefty, Simon, et. al.) I'll have to keep more of an eye out for them, though I have seen some great stuff by them in the "Off Topic" threads.
