CFL 2006 Pool

I was replying to Raisin Bran's post #198.

And I don't know what those people on TSN are smoking, but if I were still a smoker, I'd like some of it.

Looks like I was right (for once).

Woohoo!!!!! Edmonton won a game.
Thank god their defence finally showed up on the field. (2 TD's 2 interceptions) Who needs Montford! Now they just need AJ Gass back in the lineup.

2 -2 again this week

BC - 32 --- Winnipeg - 5
Saskatchewan - 18 --- Edmonton 24
Toronto - 20 --- Hamilton - 2
Montreal - 24 --- Calgary - 27

Montreal finally lost one game.
Penalties and fumbles were the Al's worst enemy yesterday (calgary did not play as good as the AL's did.)
Anyhow, I'm happy beacuse both running-backs in the game yesterday are in my pool. :D

1 - 2 this week

Edmonton - 28 @ BC - 30

Montreal - 6 @ Toronto - 31

Hamilton - 15 @ Saskatchewan - 46

Hamilton sucks! Maas is not the Quarterback that everybody tought he could be.
Montreal loosing to Toronto. What a deception!
Saskatchewan was able to win without their #1 and #2 QB, Butler did a great job. (hamilton helped them with penalties and a counter-productive offence.)

Sure looks that way. It's weird: Maas looked so good at the end of last year when he was playing for Edmonton, and then this year bleugh.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Kerry Joseph on the market soon. I wonder if the Bombers would be interested; they sure need a competent back-up for Glenn.

Yeah, Last year he was on the same page as his receiving corps. This year he says that he can't understand popow's playbook. Not too good coming from a Quarterback at the middle of the season.

Crandell did an exellent job before falling the same way Williams did. (good thing thay will change the turf at the end of the year). Trade Maas to the bombers and Joseph to Hamilton.

lol Trust me Joseph isn't leaving the Riders until a. He retires b. 3 or 4 years and we trade him because he's getting old. Butler did ok but Keith took most of the load and Hamilton gave him the rest of the offense.

Tillman is or was probably the best choice available. They had to fire Shivers because he wouldn't fire Barrett. Although I will miss Shivers' ability to bring talent to the Riders, I'm sure it'll be a nice change from Shivers down on the field constantly yelling at the players. If Shivers would have fired Barrett he wouldn't be gone currently. All in all, Saskatchewan will more than likely be getting a new coach after their next loss.

no but I think we all forgot week 12

edit: Subi was not active here too much lately.

I should be able to post the player pool points tomorrow (until week 11)

For the record Als are going to win :D

I haven't been posting very regularly for the last little while, so maybe I'll update on the weekend.
