[R&F] Chandragupta Nuke Achievement Not Working?

Tried to get the "I Thought We'd Moved Past This Joke" achievement for launching a nuke while playing as Chandragupta. Didn't work.

Researched and built a missile silo and a nuke, launched it at one of Saladin's cities, but no cheevie. Tossed a few more his way, along with a thermonuclear device, still no luck.

Is this achievement bugged or am I missing something? Didn't see any reports about this in the Bugs sub-forum, just messages about the fireball animations missing (happened to me several times too).


(Edit: no mods, no Firetuner cheats in the game)

I remember reading the same problem with another player, they got it in the end using a bomber.

Thanks for the help folks, I did a brief search for similar threads but didn't notice yours Chefofrats.

Anyway, I built the bomber and got the achievement that way. Rather strange since it specifically says "launch a nuke" not "drop a nuke". Oh well, I guess the devs have bigger issues on their plate than fixing the description.
