Change a Civ's Colours?

Hi

My favourite Civ to play as is Denmark, and I would like to change their colours though. I have found that using the SDK I can make/generate a map, edit scenario details, and in there give them a custom colour. Can I somehow change their colours "globally", like kinda permanently? So I could play random games etc without having to make scenarios each time and have pretty new colourses?

---

And another question/comment... When using the SDK, generating a map with scripts (e.g. Ice Age), I've noticed that not all resources get placed...for instance looked around and saw no Deer, things like that. Do some resources just not get placed "randomly"? If so, how to fix?

I appreciate any answers to the above :)

Basically my reasoning is lazyness. I appreciate that it can be fun and satisfying to indulge creativity and spend hours hand-placing terrain, resources, starting locations etc, but sometimes I'd much rather just run a random map generator a few times, save it, and just play the resulting selection :mischief:

Thanks again in advance ;)

Well, you can make a pretty quick mod that just changes the colors of Denmark and then use that mod all the time. Use modbuddy to make a new mod, copy the Denmark xml file into it as a civilization and find where the color is defined in the xml file and change it to whatever you like. As far as I know, this should work, but I am not an expert on this.

If you are totally new to modding (like I was one month ago), read Kael's guide and it will explain some of these basics. I don't think it does this specifically, but it may be helpful in general. Also, does anyone have a list of all the possible default colors? I guess it is in the schema somewhere, but it might be handy to have online.

Prior to posting here I did have a look at the ModBuddy thing but didn't quite know how to do anything with it...so I'll take another (closer) look!

Thanks

Is this what you want? (I forgot where I found it.)
