Change of civilization in middle of game

Has anyone encountered this? I was playing Spain, clicked enter to end the turn, got up to get a drink, came back as Rome. Which really irritates me because I was in the process of tossing Caesar's salad.

Yes that happened to me once. I don't remember what civ I was playing, but suddenly I were Alexander. This wouldn't irrigated me so much, since game was going well with greeks, but I couldn't do anything, there was only a text: "waiting for other civilizations".
