Hi. If I change the victory conditions to domination only, will the Ai be more prone to go to war, or will non aggressive civs just be crippled because they don't know what to do? Should I rather select all Ai to be aggressive? I want some more active opposition in the field rather than just the Ai having more bonuses overall.

If you set the AI to aggressive you'll see a lot less culture victories by the AI. I've never seen one on that setting. (granted I'm a conquest fan so the game don't go as long)

To my knowledge setting the victory condition to only domination, will not reset the Ai to recognizing it. Ai will still attempt other victory conditions, i.e. Culture, space, so forth. Even though the Ai won't be able to win that way. If you desire a more aggressive game, choose a custom game, and set the aggressive Ai feature. Even more so you can choose some, or all of your opponents. Select Monty, Shaka, Napoleon, any other Ai know for being a warmonger. Just remember that you have been warned. More than once I myself have done an aggressive Ai game with every leader with the aggressive trait as well as other warmonger leaders. Results varied. Sometimes a game long world war, other times, 1 or 2 civs with lots if capitulated vassals. But each game was fun. Good luck.

If you're going to use those setting, turn off vassals. It will make it more entertaining.
