does anyone know how to change the color of your tribe in
Civ I ?

ie. If you are Romans (Grey) and want to change color into Germans (purple) etc...

I think u have to go into debug civil(x).sve but after that I'm not sure what to do....

Thanx

I thought Germans were blue.
(I don't remember WinCiv/CivNet colors)
I think in CivNET you can choose which color is your tribe

I'm quite positive it can't be changed. In fact, I seriously doubt it. But then again, I don't know about that savegame editor.

What might be more interesting is whether you can make a custom civ (pressing esc when you have to choose what civ you play) and choose the colour. I always wanted to be Straland and be yellow. That ment restarting 7 times on the average. ;)

you can´t change color, but you can change tribe with debug, but you are roman change to german, you ara federick now and your tribe is germans

Is there any way to play as the barbarians? All I keep getting is that they have no cities. What if I let the barbarians capture one of my cities, and then switch sides to them?

Isn't it that you get the color of the civ the cursor was on when selecting a custom tribe?

Nope. Totally random.
It's usually white and occasionally dark blue.
