Does anyone know which xml file defines the colours of the civs' flags/symbols? I know how to mod the colours for the borders, etc but the flags in the menu screen and score list remain with the default civ colours.
Using Interface/Civ5PlayerColor.xml you can create your own custom color set for each civilization (using existing colors from Civ5Colors.xml). However Civ5Civilizations.xml and Civ5minorcivilizations.xml defines which color set is used for the specific civilization or city state.
but if your talking about civilization emblems those won't change unless you want to customize them with colors. Which I think was different from civ IV
I'm able to change the colours of the emblems through the scenario editor simply by changing the colours of each civ. So it's got to be possible to do it through the xml code of the game without modifying the actual artwork manually. I'm just wondering which file needs to be updated, because it's clear that the colours of the emblems are not defined in the playercolour tags in Civ5Civilizations.xml.
I could look later but maybe it has something to do with the ALPHA_ATLAS in Civ5Civilizations.xml, I'm guessing in game it uses that but in the civilization picking menu it uses the other CIVILIZATION_ATLAS...
